Never Use Salt – It’s a Slow Killer!
We can’t stress it enough: Never use salt!
The salt of the earth (inorganic sodium chloride) is poisonous to humans, plants and animals. What about salt licks? Don’t even wild animals crave salt? My father investigated this thoroughly – and found that salt licks never contain sodium chloride. They are decomposed plant life made into organic minerals. The commercial salt licks used by cattle ranchers are to make the cattle thirsty so that they will drink volumes of water and therefore weigh more when they are ready to be sold. This is why meat shrinks excessively when cooked.
All animals, including man, need organic minerals. Only plants can digest inorganic minerals, which they take from the earth and convert through photosynthesis into organic minerals to feed the animal kingdom. This is Mother Nature’s and God’s marvelous balance.
Our ancestors discovered that salt (inorganic sodium chloride) would preserve meat from decay. Remember, they had no refrigeration or means of storing food for long periods. Because their lifestyles were extremely active, their bodies could eliminate this indigestible salt, an inorganic mineral that plays havoc in the body.
Most civilized people over 40, today are basically sedentary creatures. Most cannot eliminate or assimilate the excessive amount of salt they consume. Their bodies stash it away in crystals that harden in the lining of their arteries and other blood vessels and in their joints, feet and hands, etc. causing arthritis and pain. Some of the salt is stored in a water solution that bloats the tissues. This can cause congestive heart failure and even death.
Eliminate salt from your diet! If you think your food tastes flat without it, add Bragg Liquid Aminos, powdered sea kelp, or some delicious herb seasoning which has a tangy taste. Or take a lesson from famous French chefs, who use very little or no salt. They achieve their marvelous flavors by the skillful use of onions, garlic, mushrooms and herbs. Lemon juice is good for seasoning salads, vegetables, beans, rice, legumes and other foods.
Salt actually deadens your taste buds. Stay away from salt. Your taste buds will awaken and you will soon start to enjoy the natural flavors of the foods you eat. Even more importantly, you will become healthier and live longer when you give up salt and live a healthy life!
