High Protein Diet Depletes Minerals
Unbalanced and unhealthy diets can deplete the body of calcium, magnesium, potassium and other major elements. Diets high in proteins, meats, fish, eggs and grains may provide excesses of phosphorus which deplete calcium and magnesium from the bones and tissues.
This causes these minerals to be lost in the urine. High fat diets tend to increase the uptake of phosphorus from the intestines relative to calcium and other basic minerals. This can produce losses of calcium, magnesium, etc. like the high phosphorus diet.
Excesses of potassium in the body can be caused by diets too high in fruits and juices and cause loss of calcium and magnesium from the body through urine. Deficiencies of calcium and magnesium can produce many different problems, from dental decay and osteoporosis to muscular cramping, hyperactivity, muscular twitching, sleep disorders and frequency of urination. Deficiencies or imbalances of other minerals can produce many other health problems.
It is very important to clean and detoxify the body through fasting and by drinking 8 glasses pure distilled water and organically grown vegetable and fruit juices. In order to continually provide the body with new supplies of minerals, adults need a diet containing a variety of organic vegetables, also mineral rich kelp and other sea vegetables. Also infants need healthy mother’s milk preferably to one year of age for solid foundation.
Many adults and children in western civilizations are malnourished and have low levels of essential minerals in their bodies due to losses caused by coffee, tea, cola and carbonated beverages and processed foods and modern diets containing refined sugar, flours and salt.
A wise man should consider that health is the greatest of human blessings and learn how, by his own thought, to derive benefit from his illnesses. Change any unhealthy living habits to 100% healthy habits and start now!
Nature never deceives us; it’s always we who deceive ourselves.– Rousseau
Open your mind, for the doors of wisdom are never shut. – Ben Franklin
The body’s organ systems can become unbalanced by chronic stress; by toxins in our air, water and soil; by disease-produced injuries; in babies, by prenatal nutritional deficiencies in the mother’s diet; and unhealthy lifestyle habits. Thus, people in our fast-food society need to take a natural multi-vitamin and mineral food supplement to ensure they get their vital nutrients. We take them and suggest you do also.
