rispost Exercise 2 – The Super Power Brain Breath

Filed under Section 12. Brag Super Power Breathing Exercise

Start by exhaling and inhaling as in Exercise 1. When your hands reach the overhead position, hold your breath (hold nose closed if necessary) and bend forward from the waist, knees bent, dropping your head below your heart, downward as far as possible.

Continue to hold your breath to the count of 10 (mentally counting, One thousand one, one thousand two, etc.). This exercise allows the richly oxygenated blood to suffuse the pituitary gland on its way to reaching, refreshing and recharging every part of your brain for sharper thinking (work, school, etc.). This power breathing also cleanses the skull cavities (sinuses, ears, nose, eyes and mouth).

While holding your breath, return to a standing position. Then bend forward, exhaling vigorously through the mouth. Slowly inhale as you return to starting position. Do this exercise 5 times at the beginning, gradually increasing to 10 repetitions.

NOTE: In these exercises, you may not be able to hold your breath for the full count at first. If you begin to feel dizzy, exhale and return to the standing position, dropping your arms to your sides and relax for a few minutes before continuing the exercise. You will gradually build your oxygen tolerance to the full count.

Man is fully responsible for his nature and his choices. – Jean Paul Sartre
