rispost Colds Clean Out Mucus and Toxins

Filed under Section 5. Comon Cold – The Body’s Miracle Cleansing Proces

Any one day in winter, over 30 million Americans suffer with a bad cold. Adults average five to six colds per season, while children and teenagers often get double that amount. The body wants the toxins out!

Are these colds necessary? How do people catch cold? What causes the common cold? Medical science has learned how to control many diseases that are far more serious, but remains baffled by the common cold. Is the culprit an unfiltered virus? Is it brought on by sitting in a draft, getting chilled, or getting one’s feet wet, as is often suggested by mothers through the ages?

While the theories are many, there seems to be only one sure fact – people who are in perfect health don’t catch colds. My dad spent a year living in the Arctic among the Eskimos. He never had a cold, and neither did they. He had the same experience in the South Seas, in the Balkans, among the nomads of the Middle East and with the native tribes of Africa. The common factor among all these people is that they breathe pure air, eat simple natural foods and get plenty of exercise and sleep. By following this same basic healthy lifestyle, my Dad remained free of colds even in the midst of civilization.

Based on his research, he found that the common cold is Mother Nature’s and God’s method of detoxifying the body. Most people are shallow breathers. And most live on the unhealthy diet of devitalized foods. Toxins start accumulating and clogging their bodies. That’s why it’s important to live a healthy lifestyle and fast!

When you feel a cold or any illness coming on, or are just depressed – it’s best to fast! Each time you fast, you will feel better. Your body will have a chance to heal and rebuild its immune system by regular fasting.
