Breathe Through the Mouth and Nose
Let us make it clear that to breathe most effectively one should use the mouth and nose to breathe normally. Our Creator has equipped your nose with hair filters to strain out dust and pollens. It also has temperature regulating chambers (sinuses) to warm or cool the air before it enters the lungs, as well as moist mucus which traps particles missed by the hairs and expels them through the nose or mouth. The human body is also equipped with a larger, secondary air entrance (the mouth) for use when a greater amount of oxygen is needed: during strenuous exercise such as swimming, running, bicycling, tennis, etc.
Since the purpose of Bragg Super Power Breathing is to fill the lungs with as much oxygen as possible, we use both the nose and mouth to breathe in and out. Do this exercise often – fill your lungs by breathing deeply in through the nose; pucker lips into a small opening; exhale slowly and strongly with a hissing sound.
Now I see the secret of making the best persons. It is to grow in the open air, and eat simple and natural and sleep with Mother Earth. – Walt Whitman
