For example, Webster’s Dictionary defines nitrate as a “salt or ester of nitric acid” and defines nitric acid as a “corrosive liquid inorganic acid HN03”. Ordinary common sense can figure out what a steady diet of foods containing a concentrated form of a corrosive liquid inorganic acid will do to your body! Nitrates and nitrites are deadly preservatives.

Sulphur dioxide is another commercial preservative commonly used on dried fruits. It is defined by Webster as a “heavy pungent gas, easily condensed to a colorless liquid and used especially in making sulfuric acid.” Do we have to remind you that sulfuric acid eats away flesh?

Many natural fats and oils are ruined by hydrogenation. This hardening process keeps them from becoming rancid, but renders them absolutely indigestible and causes terrible clogging of the cardiovascular system. Read all labels and understand them! Stop eating all commercially refined and processed foods made with refined white flour, refined white sugar, processed lunch meats and cheeses and foods with hydrogenated fats, harmful additives and preservatives such as sodium nitrate, MSG (monosodium glutamate), sulfur dioxide, etc.

Although they are not labeled poison, coffee, tea and alcohol should be banished from your diet. Why? Because their harmful ingredients accumulate poisons in your body. Also avoid soft drinks and cola drinks. They contain toxic fluoridated water, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives and sweeteners. They will poison your bloodstream and body. The huge quantities of phosphorus in soda depletes calcium and magnesium from the body. Result: millions have osteoporosis.

Salt was the first food preservative discovered by man. It has been used for thousands of years by humans who erroneously believed salt a necessity of life. Cultures unexposed to the western culture often don’t use added salt in their native diets. They stay remarkably healthy until introduced to the western diet poisons. Then their deterioration is rapid and tragic. My father and I have seen this happen from Africa to the Arctic; especially the South Sea islands, Hawaii, Samoa and Tahiti.
